THE GAME APPEARS TO WANT TO RUN IN DOS... HELP!!!!
Some older games may not like WindowsXP so follow these simple steps.

*Copy the Game folder to your Harddisk. Then.....
*Right Click the Game Icon
*Select Properties
*Choose Compatibility
*The choose one on the one-screen options that best suits your needs which should be "Run this Program in compatibility mode for Windows 95"

THE CD-ROM CONTAINS MORE GAMES THAN I ORDERED
Some of the CD's we sell are compiled and published to make money for some charities including: Cancer Research, Shelter and Unicef. Butterfly-Media donate £1.00 to these charities for every Charityware CD sold. Charityware CD's may contain games that are not 100% compatible with WindowsXP, so you simply need to use the DOSBOX software supplied on the CD-ROM to run the game you ordered.

If this still fails try this simple method:

*Copy the Game folder to your Harddisk. Then.....
*Right Click the Game Icon
*Select Properties
*Choose Compatibility
*The choose one on the one-screen options that best suits your needs which should be "Run this Program in compatibility mode for Windows 95"

Now you should be able to run the game without a problem. If it still fails you can use DOSBOX which is included on the CD with full instructions.

THE BASICS OF DOSBOX
Browse the CD and install DOSBOX
Run DOSOX the type the following to active access to your cd-rom drive.

mount d d:\ -t cdrom
d:
cd directoryname (eg: game7)
dir

Then simply run the EXE file for the game.

(change d to the drive letter of your cd-rom drive)

200,000,000 OPT-IN EMAIL ADDRESSES CD-ROM's
The actual lists of email addresses are stored as compresses .ZIP files - you will need to "unzip" them before importing them into your bulk upload software or email client. This Collection is not for complete beginners and knowledge of email clients and bulk mailing will be required.

25,000 FONTS
This is supplied on one ZIPPED CD-ROM and one ready-to-go DVD-ROM. From the DVD simply double-click a font name to view it, If you like it and want it on your system, simply drag-and-drop into: C:WINDOWS/FONTS

To activate your new fonts, goto CONTROL PANEL, and Double-Click on the FONTS ICON. that's it! now when you load your application the new fonts will be available.

LEISURE SUIT LARRY 6 ON WINDOWS XP

This game should run direct from the CD by Double-Clicking on the DrWho.exe file, how ever if this does not work, simply Drag and Drop the whole game folder to your harddisk the...

*Right Click the main Game Icon that is now on your harddisk.
*Select Properties
*Choose Compatibility
*The choose one on the one-screen options that best suits your needs which should be "Run this Program in compatibility mode for Windows 95". Run In 256 Colours.

    The game will now work 100% fine.

SUPERFROG WINDOWS EDITION
Browse the Superfrog CD and install DOSBOX
Run DOSOX and type the following to Superfrog:

mount d d:\ -t cdrom
d:
cd game7
sf

(change d to the drive letter of your cd-rom drive)

Controls: SPACE, ALT & CURSORS (Press SPACE on code screen)

XTREME AMIGA - 3 DVD-ROM SET
DVD1: Includes the main Amiga Emulator and GAMES

All the Games on Xtreme Amiga Games DVDs are compressed with WinZip,
So you must UnZip the game/s you wish to play first before you can play them.
Use Winzip to extract a game to your Harddisk. When you run the main
WinUAE program, you will have to assign a KICKSTART ROM, do this by selecting BOOT ROM then click on ... The ROM files are located in the KICKSTART folder, Choose Kickstart 1.3 - Then you must select the game you wish to run, select DISK DRIVE and in DF0: choose the game.adf file you want by clicking on the ... and locating the game on your harddisk. Thats it! to go back to the main Amiga Emulator menu simply select F12.

GETTING STARTED ON WINDOWS

Run Win64b31, Then using the FILE menu select OPEN, Choose your CD-ROM drive or the Drive you have extracted the games too, then Click on a game (eg : Drwho.d64) The contents of the "virtual C64 disk" will appear in the window below, select the game you want to run (Usually the top file in the list) then click
on RUN. That's it! See the Readme.txt files on the CD for further information.

SPECTRUM CLASSIX
This is one of of the easiest emulators to use on the PC. - Simply double-click on MY COMPUTER, then double-click on WINSPEC, then BINARIES, then WSPECEM or WSPECEM.EXE this will run the actual emulator:- Use
the pull-down FILE menu to LOAD/OPEN a game - ALL games are located in the GAMES folder of the CD.

You can adjust the Window Size/Control mode etc using the various OPTIONS within the main emulator.

On some releases of Windows an error message to the effect of CANNOT FIND
WING.DLL may pop-up - If this happens you will need to either manually copy the WING.DLL file from the SPECCY CLASSIX CD onto your HardDisk, or download the file from www.emulatorsunlimited.co.uk/support.htm

PAINTSHOP PRO / PHOTOSHOP PLUGINS
Browse CD > Double Click on SOFTWARE > Double Click on PLUGINS

Double Click on any one of the Plugin Names.... eg: BEVEL   inside this
folder is BEVEL.8bf   simply copy this file into your Paintshop/Photoshop
Folder. (Drag and Drop)

- - - On WindowsXP, (because it is so user freindly... NOT) this file will
only show as BEVEL - - -

Please see the relevent PLUGIN README file on the CD for help installing them into Paintshop or Photoshop.
